Milestones: photo memoir

$5,750.00

A career change. A retirement. A house you've lived in for thirty years. A relationship that changed everything.

For when you're going through stuff. Big stuff.

Written from the messy middle, while it’s all swirling around, or just past it when you’re coming out the other side, but everything’s still raw and real.

Truer than a journal, where even our own recollections may vary, and where we're sometimes too hard on ourselves, or not hard enough.

Milestones are something to look back on. Something to reflect on, and then quietly smile to yourself and say;

yeah, that happened. Just like that.

Words and pictures. A photo memoir of the milestones that define you.

This is what I’ve been doing with my own story, The Full Catastrophe. It’s a real time memoir of change, chaos and consequence. You can read it here.

First we talk.

What you tell me shapes the pictures I take. I turn up, shoot, we talk some more. You get candid, honest pictures that look like you on your best day. Not glossy. Real.

Then I write. I capture the story the way a biographer would. Objective, authentic and indelible.

When the words and pictures are telling the story just so, we put it all into something you can hold, frame, and pass on.

Celebrate the chaos of life that it invariably is.

  • Pre-production discussion

  • 3 hour photoshoot | one or two sessions

  • 90 minute interview

  • 30 pictures | 1500 words

  • 24 page hardback book | 11 × 8.25

  • A4 framed photograph printed on Hahnemühle 310gsm photo rag with UV70 non reflective glass

Over five grand is a bit of an ask, and a whole lot of trust, especially when you’re going through something major. Before you buy, it’s really worth having a chat first.

When you buy, either pay in full or with a 50% deposit. Details in FAQs

On that note please have a read of the terms & FAQs. I mean no-one ever does. But you should. You really should.

Also these things won’t write themselves so there’s a bit of housekeeping to cover off before we can get started.

That buy now button isn’t going anywhere.
